Partnering provides Leadership Development

A year ago, Leslie Ungar from Electric Impulse Communications and I started discussions on how to partner to provide her clients with the unique Leadership learning experience from the horses. 

Not a typical partners, two consultants and coaches coming together to provide services for the others clients, which is what made it intriguing to both of us.  Along with Leslie’s love for horses, she use to ride and show horses for years.  So we met, discussed details, and decided to give it a whirl.   (more…)


Adding young & female managment = change

A recent article stated that GM was promoting more women and younger people to their management team.  Making this change signaled “they are serious about getting younger people in and running the place right”.  As an Organizational Development professional I see that statement as VERY interesting?

Self Renewal – A Farce

My husband and I took the vacation of a life time!  We rented a sailboat and sailed the British Virgin Islands without best friends, there were the four of us, the captain and 1st mate.  6 of us on a 56′ Sailboat cruising the islands!  The water was crystal clear blue, breathtakingly beautiful corral reefs, sky totted with white puffy clouds, exhilarating dives & snorkeling with the vibrating brilliantly colored fish and sea turtles, and the sunsets were unpredictable.  At night the sky sparkled with stars that looked like diamonds glittering in the night.    It was like a dream come true!
