Old friends out last their usefulness

December 19, 2010

It’s winter time in NE Ohio!  We got pummeled with 30″ of snow last week, followed by rain on Saturday only to have it dump 18″ on us since Monday and its still coming down!

Winter is a great time to review your goals, enjoy your accomplishments of the year, set some new goals and ponder what you’d like to do differently in the New Year.  It’s also a great time to reflect on what is important, notice what you’ve released, and rejoice in how far you’ve come!

I opened a gift yesterday!  One that sat on my bookshelf for several years all wrapped in beautiful paper with a big bow on top!  The first year it peered at me and I thought about it a lot.  I wanted to unwrap it and dig out the gift, but (more…)

Paying it forward with Gratitude

January 7, 2010

I wonder how many people took to heart my November message about Gratitude?  When you put something out to the universe rarely do you really know how it perceived, its impact anyone or if anyone actually read what you wrote!  On a rare occasion, someone might actually tells you of your impact and how it effected their life.

As we celebrate the beauty of the holiday and bring 2009 to a close, I encourage you to embrace the joys of the year, release the wounds of the past to the universe for healing, and open your arms wide to happiness and abundance in the New Year.

I share with you the words of “The Greatest Gifts” with the desire for you to embrace and allow them to be alive in you now and throughout the New Year.

May we break boundaries, tear down walls, and build on the foundation of goodness inside each of us.

May we look past differences, gain understanding, and embrace acceptance. (more…)

Gratitude – pass it on

November 24, 2009

Thanksgiving provides the perfect time to reflect and acknowledge the many blessings in our lives so we can continue to manifest more of them. Why not  reserve more than one day a year to recognize what is important to you?  Stop right now and make a date with yourself 4 times a year to reflect on the blessings in your life. Schedule a date for yourself in your Blackberry, Outlook, I-Phone, paper calendar (yes, people  still use the good old standby paper method) or what ever system you use and give yourself 5 minutes 4 times a year to take stock of what’s important to you.   Heck, go ahead, challenge yourself to do it more than 4 times a year! Or what if instead of keeping it to yourself, you TOLD people that you were grateful for them, or something they did right when they did it? What difference would it make in you, your family, friends, employees, and co-workers, gosh what might be different with each person you touch?    (more…)
